About the Game

Slay or Lay is an anime styled roguelite deckbuilder that puts gameplay first. Delve into a medieval fantasy world, battle monster girls, and discover synergies to overcome your enemies.

Unlike many games in this genre, there is no "lose to see the scene" mechanic here. Your progression and victories drive the story forward. As you successfully navigate the core game loop and defeat your foes, you will naturally unlock CGs. Build a varied deck, outsmart your opponents, and earn your rewards through actual strategy.

Play the Demo! The game is currently in active development, and this demo gives you a taste of the core deckbuilding mechanics and the first steps of the journey.

• Play with a starting pool of ~20 unique cards (expanding to ~40 with the upgrade system).
• Find and equip 17 different relics to alter your playstyle.
• Find NPCs to get to know them more and build relationship with them.

Development Roadmap I am actively working on expanding the game into a 5-Act journey (Forest, Desert, Manor, Volcano, Sea). Here is what you can expect as development continues:

• Monthly Updates: I am aiming to release 1 new Act per month, bringing new cards, relics, monster girls, and bosses.
• Animated Scenes: I am currently learning Spine2D to bring the characters and scenes to life!
